Dr Darcy Isted
General Dentist at Heritage Dental Centre, Macleod Trail SE.
Dr Darcy Isted graduated from the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Dentistry in Edmonton in 1988. After completing his dental education he returned to Calgary, and he has been serving the community at Heritage Dental Centre since 1990. Over more than three decades of practice he has developed a passion for all aspects of general dentistry, particularly preventive care, restorative treatment and building long-lasting relationships with his patients. He stays current with developments in dental care and takes part in continuing education regularly to build his skills and knowledge.
Outside work, Dr Isted keeps active. He loves biking and is often out on the trails around Calgary. He is also a keen photographer, capturing moments in nature and daily life. Music is another of his passions: he plays in a band and enjoys performing. Golf is not his strongest suit, but he enjoys the game and is always a good sport, even when he is not winning.
Dr Isted is married to his wife Kim, and has two daughters, a grandson, and two dogs (a Whippet and a Cavalier Spaniel), who keep them entertained and active. His love of family, music and the outdoors shows in his warm, approachable manner, both at home and with his patients.
