We believe that starting oral health care early helps children build good dental hygiene habits for life. We follow the Canadian Dental Association’s guidelines, which recommend that children have their first dental assessment within six months of the eruption of their first tooth or by their first birthday, whichever comes first. We aim to make the clinic a welcoming, reassuring place that eases any worries children may have, because introducing them to dental care in a friendly, supportive setting lays the groundwork for good oral health habits.
